Our name reflects who we are. Jida’s knowledge comes from years of tradition and experience. Jida cooks instinctively by touch, by taste, by smell—the kind of authentic, simple and delicious food that nourishes and delights an entire family. The kind of food that turns your home into an inviting place where everyone comes together.
How our story began
At our heart, Jida is about sharing a love of good food. Our three globe-wandering founders grew up at the crossroads of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, amidst confrontation and divide. But food has always had the ability to bring everyone together. It’s an international language that connects us with the land, with ourselves and with each other.
Good food needs good ingredients
We believe good food doesn’t have to be complicated. Made in small batches, Jida’s premium spice blends are 100% natural, authentic in flavour and easy to use. We source our raw materials from the riches of our Mediterranean and Middle Eastern homelands, carefully formulating each blend to make any dish mouthwatering in a couple of teaspoons.
