Pasta in Fresh Lemon-Butter Sauce
This quick and easy dinner tastes like it came straight from the most authentic Italian kitchen! The bright lemon flavour is delicious, tangy and creamy - and it’s ready in less than 20 minutes. Plus, you can add chicken, shrimp, or fish to personalise this amazing pasta recipe.
500g / 18oz tagliatelle / fettuccine /spaghetti pasta
80g / 3oz butter
Zest of 2 lemons
2 lemons, juiced
3 teaspoons Jida’s Breezy Black Blend
10 fresh sage leaves, chopped (optional)
4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Add the butter, fresh lemon zest to a large pan over medium heat and stir until the butter is melted.
Squeeze in the fresh lemon juice and stir in the chopped sage and 3 teaspoons of Jida’s Breezy Black Blend; cook for 3 minutes and set aside.
Follow package instructions to cook the pasta in boiling salted water for about 10 minutes or until al dente.
Drain the pasta and stir through the lemon butter sauce.
Serve with grated parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
